Walk off the Earth

Walk off the Earth is a band. The members of this band are Gianni Luminati, Sarah Blackwood,  Ryan Marshall,  Mike Taylor,  Joel Cassady.

I think that they are a cool band. They use odder instruments like the ukulele, the electric toothbrush (which is not normally considered a musical instrument) and xylophone.

This is one of me and my mom's favourite songs. It is above the beginning of the post. The song is called Little Boxes. The song is about how everybody is the town was all made out of the same thing and how they all have houses exactly the same and how boring it would be to be living in a life that is all the same.

Why Hunger Games is a Good Book

My mom is reading the Hunger Games to me. I think Hunger Games is a really good book. By the way we are talking about the whole book series Hunger Games.

Me and my mom are reading the third book and the second movie hasn't even came out yet. I bet by the time the movie is done, me and my mom will be done the third book.

The people who make the movie the Hunger Games (the second one) are very slow at making movies. How long ago was it when the last book was published? How long did it take for the people who make the movies to make the movie "Hunger Games" and how long did it take them to write the book?

Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Melark are the main characters in the book. The Hunger Games has three main parts.

The beginning is where Katniss has the interviews with the interviewer. I forgot his name. I am 100% you can search it on Google. In the interview, Katniss shows off her dress and Peeta says that he likes Katniss. That is it for the beginning. There is way more to the beginning but I just don't want to spoil the movie and book and also I don't like typing even though I am not typing (my mother is).

The second part is where the book title gets its name from. The Hunger Games begin. The Hunger Games is not a game. In fact, the Hunger Games is a place that you do not want to go because you have to kill people. There is only one Hunger Games that a person technically didn't kill a person. That was the 50th quarter quell. Do you know who was in the 50th quarter quell? Haymitch! He didn't technically kill anyone because Haymitch learned about the force field. When a girl and Haymitch were the last ones of the 24 people, the girl followed Haymitch into the area where the force field was and Haymitch jumped into it. Just in time to miss the axe the girl was throwing at him. The force field was a place whenever something went down it, it popped right back up so Haymitch jumped down it hoping to pop right back up. The axe instead of hitting Haymitch's head, it hit the girl's head and she died. That means he won the Hunger Games.

The end of the book is where they get picked up by Seneca Crane and Seneca Crane is executed. Katniss and Peeta tried to eat these poisonous berries to kill both of them at the same time. Seneca Crane decided that there could be two winners this. There were only allowed to be one winner. Therefore he got executed by the Capital which is like a Capital of a country. Technically, the capital of Panem.

My Half of My Day

This week I went to LEAP Camp. LEAP Camp is an enrichment camp. These are the things I did today.

In the morning, I went to music class. We made instruments. It was SO much fun. I made a drum and a balloony boon. My name for one of my instruments. Also, I made a guitar. My guitar failed.

I made a straw duck horn. WAAAAAAA --that is the sound it makes.

I also made a pipe flute.

Then we had a little band. We had to do an emotions song.

I had to go with a bunch of boys. Silent groan. Silent sigh. I do not like boys because I think they are annoying, evil little creatures that share the world with people and I can not wait until they mature. Like girls do. This was the morning of my day.

Now to the afternoon. In the afternoon, we had computers. There are so many things to describe so I will make a link to our camp website.

fun crafts

These are some of my favorite crafts!

the chock board craft 

to do this  you will need:

•  chalk board paper 
•  Pom Pom (Optional)
• card board
• scissors
• sticks (Optional)
• hot glue gun               

First, cut  the cardboard to the shape and size you want it.
Second, cut the chalk board paper the same size as the cardboard peace.  
Third, hot glue the Perimeter of the cardboard. place the chalk board paper on top of the card board right after.
Forth, add a card board rim if doing pom poms.

I am thankful to live in Canada for many reasons. First, in Canada we have fresh drinking water. If we did not have fresh water we would be ill. Second, we have homes in Canada. Unlike  third world areas we do not live in huts or tents. Third, we have 
well trained paramedics. Lastly, we have good markets. This is why i am thankful to live in Canada 

why do people in grade school care about shoes

I know some people in  grade school care about shoes.  People in  grade school shroud  not  care about shoes. It should not matter them to  if you have matching pink shoes and pink tops. you can where what you want to where. But little girls should not be wasting five minutes of there day finding out what shoes they want to where. Also

don't ,let your kids where heels to school. heels should  be for Christmas, church, Easter and celebrations.
